Where do I start? The customer service I've received since complaining about this fruit box - and the vegetable box - is disgraceful. From confusing messages to not being believed, it's just not how you treat customers. So there's that. I ordered 'deluxe' boxes, which, btw, are just bigger, not better (look up the meaning of 'deluxe' - it's misleading to use that term!). Most of what I got was in extremely poor condition. I didn't expect 'perfect' produce, but I certainly expected fresh, good quality produce. What I got was mouldy or so over or under-ripe and/or squished it was inedible. A whole bag of sloppy brown grapes that should have been firm green ones. A heap of green oranges and lemons, which I left out for a good two weeks to ripen but they didn't. I tried an orange and wish I hadn't. The only good things in the entire fruit box were the red grapes and the plums. So I got that out of $109! 'Rip off' doesn't even cover it. The weirdest thing I got was a coconut, wrapped in plastic, from Thailand. I thought I was buying Aussie produce for a start. The coconut was apparently for drinking so I stuck the straw in and... No coconut milk. Not a drop. I cut the plastic off it and thought maybe I could eat the flesh... Mouldy! I took photos but was so furious I couldn't send them, or complain. I deleted most. Then after about a fortnight I finally did email Garden of Vegan about it, and found that I had a few photos left, which I sent. They've tried to convince me that this was a 'one off', despite it happening with two different boxes, said I don't have enough photographic evidence, and so on. Instead of just properly apologising - like they mean it - and investigating. I will never, ever use Garden of Vegan again. I'm beyond disappointed! Do not waste your money!
