Brown Rice can be steamed or boiled. We suggest a 1:3 ratio if boiling. 1 part rice to 3 parts water.
Add rice to boiling water and simmer for 15-20 minutes until tender. Reduce heat and let sit for a further 5 minutes before draining the remainder of the liquid and fluffing with a folk whilst rinsing with room temperature water.
A classic rice used in many Indian inspired dishes
Organic Brown Rice is best served with dhal, traditional Indian curries, Thai or mexican style spicy bean dishes. Once cooled, the rice grains separate making it ideal for fried rice, salads or can be re-cooked and transformed into rice puddings.
